Leah Velez: [00:00:00] You've reached Side B of the Belonging Mixtape submitted by folks after the mixtape release party in September, 2022. It was a beautiful event, held at the Oregon Wine Lab (in Eugene, Oregon) where DJ Rortron set the vibe. Plant Chic Tropicals, Waite Illustrate Begonia and Friends, and Chelsea Lovejoy all sold plants and art. And Daphne Singingtree, Dante Zúñiga-West, Farah Mahmoud, and Rati D. told stories and played the mbira at the microphone. In a side room further down, we played the podcast for folks who were mingling, and then in a small studio, we had a private space for folks to interview one another. These next episodes were recorded in this space on this lovely evening.
